Wiebren Gras is de naam. Ik ben geboren in 1962 en woon in het Friese Oppenhuizen.

Ruim dertig jaar hield ik mij bezig met gevelbehandeling. Gedurende die lange tijd zag ik echter dat er vaak onjuiste beslissingen werden genomen bij het behandelen van gevels. Onder meer door gebrek aan kennis van goed- en minder goedbedoelende gevelbehandelaars. Wat tevens een rol speelde, was het gebrek aan goede voorlichting bij de cliënt.

Zoals een arts vóór het behandelen van een patiënt diepgaand onderzoek zal verrichten, is het in de meeste gevallen bij het behandelen van gevels ook uitermate belangrijk vooraf een grondig onderzoek te doen om de juiste behandeling te garanderen.

Zo ontstond Geveladvies Gras, de ‘huis-arts’ die onderzoekt voordat de specialist wordt ingeschakeld. Een ‘huis-arts’ die de vinger op de zere plek legt en hoe deze aandoening moet worden behandeld.

Als stenen konden spreken, zouden ze hun dankbaarheid van de daken schreeuwen voor een professionele aanpak.
